UMD's Kohlwey Voted 2019 NSIC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) senior All-American Danielle Kohlwey was voted the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year, it was announced Wednesday.

This past weekend Kohlwey defended her 100-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash titles at the NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Duluth to secure her spot at the NCAA II Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Kohlwey along with freshman Haleigh Reindl will compete at nationals next week in Kingsville, Texas.

Kohlwey marks the third Bulldog in the past four years to attain the outdoor honor, joining distance runners Emi Trost and Breanna Colbenson.
