The ex-UMD and CSS player is also training for the ECHL. Kotyk says he's re-signed with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL for his third professional season. The Walleye are the Detroit Red Wings' ECHL affiliate. Last season he had seven goals and nine assists in 74 games.

The four-day 4th annual camp in Superior was full for their ice sessions. Squirts, peewees and bantams received guidance from Kotyk, Brett Olson, Mike Sislo, Andy Welinski and Hunter Miska. UMD players Koby Bender and Gabbie Hughes also shared knowledge as guests.
