UMD Hoops Sweep Minot State

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's and women's basketball teams swept Minot State to round out their weekend series at home.

After falling in the Bulldogs first triple overtime game in 29 years the men's team held off Minot State University with a 77-70. Brandon Myer lead all scorers finishing with 25 points. The Bulldogs improve to 8-6 on the season.

The women's team scored a season high 79 points to beat the Beavers 79-51. Emma Boehm leading the way for all scorers with 15 points. UMD improves to 9-4 overall on the season.

The Bulldogs are back in action next Friday, Jan. 18 at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
