Bulldogs Drop Tight Battle with Wildcats in OT

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime to Wayne State at Malosky Stadium on Sunday. It marks the Bulldogs fifth straight loss.

Senior forward Logan Nash led the Bulldogs with three shots, sophomore defender Megan Vante, junior forward Holly Kaboord, and freshman forward Tiana DeGrande each had two shots.

Wayne State forward Abby Sutton beat sophomore goalkeeper Sophia Grenz on the short side for the game winner.

The Bulldogs now carry a 3-6-0 record and will travel play Northern State on Friday, October 6.
