Week 10/14: Bulldogs Among the Ranks

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team bumped up in the latest rankings, while two Bulldog program moved down, and the football team remained at the No. 23 spot in this week's AFCA Division II Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

After a sweep of Minnesota State University, Mankato over the weekend, the UMD women's hockey team crept up a spot to eighth in the latest USCHO.com national poll released Monday morning. UMD heads to Bemidji State University this weekend in its second Western Collegiate Hockey Association action of the year.

The UMD men's hockey program slid two spots following a weekend series split against UMass-Lowell in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men's Poll released Monday. The Bulldogs will hit the road this weekend for the first time in 2019-20 to take on No. 17 Wisconsin.

The Bulldog volleyball team moved down three spots to take the No. 7 spot in the AVCA poll this past week. UMD takes to the road to face off against the Bemidji State Beavers on Tuesday.

Finally, the UMD football team stayed put at the No. 23 after their victory over Wayne State. The Bulldogs will visit Sioux Falls this Saturday.
