Excluding exhibition action, the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team is set to return to AMSOIL for their first time since October 20, which also marks the Bulldogs last series sweep on the season.

Since then, UMD has suffered a couple bumps and bruises along the way getting swept in their last two series, but earning the split against St. Cloud State University. UMD head Coach Maura Crowell says that the team's road stretch has been good thing because they know there's no oasis in their schedule or in their conference.

"You have to weather the storm sometimes" said Crowell. "Sometimes it comes easy, sometimes it doesn't. I think we all know that we have a talented group in that locker room and it's just a matter of time."

"We need our work ethic to be high this year. Relentless on every puck and just do our job in the d-zone and capitalize on our chances in the offensive zone and hopefully come out with that win," added junior goaltender Maddie Rooney.

The Bulldogs are set to close the books on the 2018 portion of their schedule by hosting Minnesota State University-Mankato for a weekend series beginning Friday. Puck drop is set for 7:07 P.M.
