UMD beat Friars in final game of Ice Breaker

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) toppled the Providence College Friars, in their final game of the Ice Breaker tournament Saturday night.

Providence would get the first goal of the game, and carry the 1-0 lead into the second period.

From there UMD would control the play taking a 2-1 lead off a beautiful feed from Blake Biondi, to Quinn Olson, notching his first ever colligate goal.

Bulldogs would never trail again winning by the final score of 3-2.
