Team Iron Range girls & boys skate to wins in Essentia Health All-Star games

Both the Iron Range girls and boys teams earned wins in the annual Essentia Health High School All-Star hockey games that took place Tuesday at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center.

The Team Iron Range boys beat Team Duluth 4-1, while the Team Iron Range girls beat Team Duluth 6-5 in a shootout. Bailey Rupp of Bemidji was named the girls MVP, and Tate Swanson of Hibbing/Chisholm was named the boys MVP. Rupp had one goal, two assists and a goal in the shootout, while Swanson had two goals.

The All-Star game is in its 26th year, first launching in 1999. The full rosters are below.
