The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team revealed their captains for the 2022-2023 season on Tuesday.

The next man to join the historic ranks of those to wear the ‘C’ will be forward Tanner Laderoute. He served as an assistant captain last year as a senior. During the 2021-2022 campaign he posted a career-high 10 goals with 13 points in 38 games.

He’ll be flanked by his assistant captains, forwards Quinn Olson and Luke Loheit. As juniors last season Olson tallied a career-high 25 points, while Loheit added six points. This marks the first time in each of their collegiate careers that they will wear a letter.

UMD will open their season hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils on October 1, 2022.
