Superior softball protects perfect season in shutout over Proctor

The Superior softball team protected their perfect record Wednesday shutting out Proctor 11-0 in five innings at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex.
The Spartans improve to 20-0 on the season. They need just two more wins to finish the regular season undefeated. Superior next visits Hudson Friday at 5 p.m., then hosts Chippewa Falls Saturday at 1 p.m.
Proctor (15-4) next hosts Rush City Friday at 4 p.m. for their regular season finale.
