State Golf: Hermantown’s Carlson, Duluth Marshall’s Scissons lead the way for Northlanders

The Minnesota state golf tournament wrapped up this week.

The Northland’s two team representatives were Cloquet and Rock Ridge in Class AA. The Lumberjack boys finished fifth with a score of 620, and the Wolverine girls took eighth with a score of 756.

The top Northland individual finishers also came out of Class AA. They were Hermantown eighth grader Boston Carlson and Duluth Marshall junior Bennett Scissions tying for 16th with scores of 150.
