Hermantown/Proctor Preps for Second Straight Trip to State Dance Meet

It is state week for two Northland prep girls dance teams. Duluth Marshall and Hermantown/Proctor have both qualified to compete in jazz at state which takes place at Target Center, the home of the Minnesota Timberwolves. This year marks Hermantown/Proctor's second straight year qualifying.

"It's really good for our team culture. We're trying to build our team culture and it helps when we make it again and again. We hope to keep making it," said junior Sydney Hansen.

"I'm just really excited to dance on the Timberwolves' floor. It's just kind of cool to say that you did that," said junior Tori Novitzki.

State jazz kicks off Friday, February 14th. Hermantown/Proctor will compete in AA. Duluth Marshall will compete in A. The Hilltoppers have qualified for 18 straight state tournaments. <
