A pair of second period goals were the key in the Saints win. Hermantown native Mariah Haedrich took advantage of a change on the ice to beat the goaltender on the breakaway to make it 1-0. Then, with four minutes left in the period, Greta Nundahl buried a rebound off a Sam Gorecki shot on the power-play to make it a 2-0 game.

Lori Huseby made 19 saves.

The Saints (3-5-0) wrap up their series Saturday at 5 P.M.
