South Ridge, Carlton, Hermantown, & Duluth Marshall Advance in Prep Playoffs, Superior Falls

South Ridge, Carlton, Hermantown, and the Duluth Marshall baseball teams all advanced in prep baseball playoffs with wins on Tuesday, while Superior fell to D.C. Everest in the opening round of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) playoffs.

In Section 7A, South Ridge defeated Cherry 9-0, while Carlton held on to beat Cook County 4-3.

In Section 7AA, Duluth Marshall beat Moose Lake/Willow River 19-1 in five innings.

In Section 7AAA, Hermantown took down Cloquet winning 11-4.

D.C. Everest rallied from behind to edge Superior by a final score of 12-11.
