A dramatic Section 7A semifinal between Rock Ridge and North Shore saw the Wolverines top the Storm, 7-6.

Natalie Bergman got on the board first, putting Rock Ridge up 1-0, but North Shore found momentum thanks to back to back goals by Berkley Hoff and Nina Thorson, giving the Storm a 2-1 lead going into the first intermission.

In the second period, Kyra Irwin and Mayme Scott put the Wolverines right back in the picture, taking the 3-2 lead, however, Nina Thorson would net her second goal of the game to tie things back at 3-3. Sarah Stauber would make it a 4-3 Storm lead, but not before Natalie Bergman net her second goal of the game to end the period tied at 4-4.

In the third period, Rock Ridge took control, as Mayme Scott scored her second goal and Bergman scored her third to give the Wolverines a 6-4 lead. Berkley Hoff scored again, but Bergman found the back of the net for a fourth time to increase the lead back to two goals.

Nina Thorson scored with 15 seconds left, but it was too late for North Shore to complete a comeback.

Rock Ridge now faces the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage on Wednesday at 7 p.m. for the Section 7A championship.
