UMD's Riley Tufte Signs Entry-Level Deal With NHL's Dallas Stars

Duluth, Minn. - Days after helping UMD win their second straight NCAA Championship, junior Forward Riley Tufte has agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with the NHL's Dallas Stars.

Tufte, who is from Ham Lake, Minnesota, had 34 goals and 30 assists in 121 collegiate games. He played in three NCAA Frozen Fours and three NCAA Title Games in his three years at UMD.

Tufte was named 'Mr. Hockey' in 2016 during his senior season at Blaine.
