Proctor/Hermantown outlasts Northern Stars in outdoor game
It was cold, but the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage came out on fire to beat the Duluth Northern Stars in an outdoor game, 5-2.
Both teams seemed to not mind the environment, as Gracyn Schipper got the Northern Stars on the board just over a minute into the game, but Reese Knight fired right back to tie the game up at 1-1 in the first period.
From there, the Mirage would go on a tear, scoring four goals the rest of the way.
Proctor/Hermantown turns to take on Superior on Monday at 7 p.m. while the Northern Stars will try to bounce back against Grand Rapids/Greenway on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
