"We are 21-4 and in a high school tennis match, we play seven points in a match and during that whole season whether it is playoffs or whatever, we [have] 136 wins and only 36 losses in matches all season long," said Head Coach Chad Humphrey.

Duluth East only suffered three losses in the regular season, thanks in part to their seven seniors.

"All the veterans on the team, most of these guys are core guys that have been with use four or five years," said Duluth East senior E.J. Hietala.

Duluth East and Edina will meet in the State AA quarterfinals Tuesday at 12 P.M. at the University of Minnesota.

Hibbing plays at the same time in the State A quarterfinals versus Mounds Park Academy at the Family Tennis Center in Minneapolis.
