Stariha Pitches 10 Strikeouts, Superior Defeats Duluth Marshall for 13th Straight Win

In prep softball Thursday, Superior defeated Duluth Marshall 7-0 at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex in Superior for their thirteenth win in a row.

Spartan senior Mady Stariha pitched 10 strikeouts while only allowing one hit in all seven innings against the Hilltoppers. She also had one run and two RBIs. Madison Sislo led Superior with two runs and three hits in three at-bats.

For Duluth Marshall, Greta Leitz-Najarian pitched three strikeouts. Brenna Bollins had the sole hit for the Hilltoppers. 

Next, Superior (16-1) goes on the road to the Chippewa Falls Invite to face Kaukauna at 10 A.M. Saturday. Duluth Marshall (4-6) will face Heron Lake-Okabena on the road Friday.
