"A lot of us are returning from last year and we got a little taste of what it was like in the section final, but unfortunately, we lost both of our games to go to state and we came out fighting this year and we knew we could get there and that we wanted it really bad," says Senior 2B Olivia Diver.

"We have good hitting and we have good team speed, but you have to have heart and that gives us the resiliency that we really need and they really want this," say Head Coach Ron Tondryk.

With a 19 win season, the Lumberjacks are the four seed in Class AAA. They face fifth-seeded Benilde-St. Margaret's on Thursday at 11 a.m.

"I am not that nervous for state because I know that we have pushed through that one game and I know that we can do it," says junior pitcher Lucy Sinkkonen

"I am just really excited and since I'm graduated, this is really all I have left of high school," says Senior 3B Keagan Anderson.
