Prep Soccer 9/16: Proctor Girl's Win in OT and Fog, Hermantown Boy's Shut Out Duluth Marshall

Proctor, Minn. - Emma Terhaar scored with just seconds remaining in the first overtime for Proctor, giving the Rails a 2-1 lead vs Grand Rapids. Proctor held on through the second overtime to win 2-1.

The match was played on a foggy night at Terry Egerdahl Stadium as seeing the ball was difficult for players and fans.

Makenzie Cole of Grand Rapids had 32 saves in the match. Ava Bennett had 11 for Proctor.

Proctor is now 4-4-1.

Also Monday, Hermantown and Duluth Marshall played in a prep doubleheader with the Hawks hosting. The Hilltoppers won 5-0 in the girl's game, but the Hawks won 4-0 in the boy's game.
