Prep Soccer Playoffs: Duluth Marshall Girls, Duluth Denfeld Boys Advance To State

Two Duluth teams will head to the state tournament after the Duluth Denfeld boys and Duluth Marshall girls won their title matches.

Duluth Marshall defeated Chisago Lakes 4-0 to win the Section 7A girls title match and move on to State.

Marshall scored three of their four in the first half. 

The boys Section 7A title went to Duluth Denfeld after a 3-0 victory over Grand Rapids. 

Jon Faynik scored the first two of the game for Denfeld. 

Both teams will play in the state tournament next week. The tournament begins October 23rd at various sites. 

The championship game will be held November 2nd at U.S. Bank Stadium.
