Donte Lawson had the game-winning goal in double overtime in the Section 7A Championship as Greenway defeated Hermantown 3-2 on Wednesday at AMSOIL Arena and advance to their first State Tournament since 2001.

Ben Troumbly scored Greenway's two regulation goals, tying Hermantown to send the game into double OT.

Lawson scored the game winning goal for the Raiders with 13:52 left in the second overtime.

"You work really hard and you can accomplish things because no one else thinks that you can do that against a Hermantown team, and they're a great team, and they're well coached, but if you work hard and you believe in the right things you can do that stuff," said Greenway head coach Grant Clafton.

Aaron Pionk and Blake Biondi scored for Hermantown, both in the first period.
