Prep Hockey: Hermantown, Superior boys notch home wins, Duluth Marshall girls top CEC

The Hermantown and Superior boys, and Duluth Marshall girls picked up wins in prep hockey on Tuesday.

In a Section 7A championship rematch the number one Hermantown boys topped number six Duluth Denfeld 6-1 at the Hermantown Ice Arena. Wyatt Carlson and George Peterson each scored twice for the Hawks, while Nick McGillivray scored the sole goal for the Hunters. 

In Superior, the Spartans held off Hayward winning 1-0. Lucas Williams scored the sole goal of the game in the first period.

Out in Cloquet, number seven Duluth Marshall downed number 10 Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 2-1 with all three goals coming in the third period. Anna Koski and Danica Mark scored for the Hilltoppers, while Tenley Stewart scored for the Lumberjacks,
