Prep Basketball 1/10: East and Superior Split Doubleheader, Bemidji Boy's Beat Grand Rapids

It was Coaches vs Cancer at Superior as the Spartans hosted Duluth East for a prep basketball doubleheader.

In the girl's game, Chloe Kintop lead Superior with 20 points in a 53-44 win. Macy Hermanson had 19 points for Duluth East in the loss.

It wouldn't be a doubleheader sweep as Duluth East won the boy's game 75-70. Isiah Hendrickson had 21 points for the Greyhounds, who improved to 10-3. Xavier Patterson had 20 points for the Spartans in the loss.

Also in boy's basketball on Thursday, Colton Jensen lead Bemidji with 20 points as the Lumberjacks defeated Grand Rapids 75-61.
