Last season was the program's first ever trip to the State tournament. They fell to Parkers Prairie 13-4 in the third place match.

"Well we lost one senior from last years team so, you know, I look at it as just an experienced crew going down there. We know what to expect this time around and I think we have an idea of what it's going to take to go down there and have some success," said Head Coach Tyler Olin.

The State tournament begins Thursday. The Panthers are set to face number two seed New York Mills in the quarterfinals. First pitch is set for at 3 P.M. at the Mini Met in Jordan.
