South Ridge Defeats Hill City to Advance in Section 7A Boy's Hoops Tourney

Culver, Minn. - Eighth-seeded South Ridge advanced in the Section 7A, Subsection 1 Boy's Basketball Tournament on Monday, winning a first round/play-in game at home over ninth-seeded Hill City.

The Panthers won 60-32 and will face top-seeded Wrenshall on Wednesday in Esko.

Other scores from Monday include Mountain Iron-Buhl advancing with an 88-29 win over Northeast Range. The Rangers will faced second-seeded Ely on Wednesday in Coleraine. Also on Monday, Littlefork/Big Falls defeated Cherry 58-41. They'll face top-seeded North Woods on Wednesday in Hibbing.
