The second seeded Proctor girls basketball team tipped off the Section 7AA tournament with a big win over No. 15 Hinckley-Finlayson Tuesday night in Proctor.

The Rails got off to a 23-0 run to start the game, and went on to earn an 88-34 victory for their fifth straight win.

Proctor (24-3) advances to face No. 7 Aitkin (19-8) in the 7AA quarterfinals Saturday at 4 p.m. at Cloquet Middle School. For the full bracket, click here.
