Former UMD Goalie Hunter Miska has officially been recalled by the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League.

The 23-year old Stacy, Minnesota native and former UMD goalie is an emergency recall as starting goalie Antti Raanta is day-to-day with a lower body injury.

Miska is 3-3-1 with a 3.11 goals against average (GAA) and a .901 save percentage in seven games with Tucson of the AHL. He was briefly called up to the NHL last season as a rookie, but didn't see any game action. The Coyotes visit Philadelphia on Thursday.

Miska was a member of the 2016-17 UMD Men's Hockey Team and helped the Bulldogs reach the NCAA Title Game that season.
