Section 7A Hoops: Mountain Iron-Buhl, Cromwell-Wright, and Bigfork Move On to Semifinals

The Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers are one step closer to their 8th trip to the state tournament after defeating Ely 88 to 40 to advance to the Section 7A semifinals.

Next up for the Rangers, they'll play Floodwood in the semis on Tuesday at Romano Gymnasium. Tip off is set for 5:45pm.

In the lower part of the bracket, Bigfork handled Cherry by a final of 72 to 41.

Bigfork was led by Lexi Becker who had 22 points. Emma Rauzi added 21 points in the victory.

In the nightcap, top ranked Cromwell-Wright defeated Cook County 73 to 50.

Bigfork and Cromwell-Wright will face off in the semifinals on Tuesday at Romano Gymnasium. Tip off is set for 7:15pm.
