Sederquist, Teschuk Win 13th Annual Minnesota Mile

Duluth, Minn. - Tom Sederquist won Grandma’s Marathon Minnesota Mile road race today on Skyline Parkway. Sederquist, 30, of Duluth, finished in 4:41.5. Cameron Stocke, 14, of Mountain Iron, Minnesota, placed second in 4:44.9. Stocke was the returning open division male champion from 2018. Third place went to Jesse Prince, 38, of Bemidji, Minnesota, with a time of 4:50.7.

Erin Teschuk, 24, of Victoria, British Columbia, claimed the women’s division title with a winning time of 4:50.0. Hadley Knight, 11, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, finished in second with a time of 5:46.4. Jessica Beckman, 28, of Duluth, was third with a time of 6:05.9.

Brian Janaszak, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, claimed the men’s master’s title with a time of 5:18.3. Rochelle Wirth, 57, of Duluth, won the women’s master’s title with a time of 6:11.3.

A record total of 678 participants registered for the Grandma’s Minnesota Mile, which featured men’s and women’s recreational divisions. There were no elite athlete divisions this year. 647 people finished.
