Last Friday Proctor/Hermantown shutout Northern Lakes 11-0 to stay unbeaten on the season.

Scoring one goal in the first period Alyssa Watkins helped the Mirage improve to 8-0. The moment was a monumental one for the senior forward marking her 100th career point.

"My mom and dad made the trip down because we knew we were somewhat close to it so they made it down," said Watkins. "They said they weren't going to miss it so that was really cool to have them with, and my brother's in New York but he saw it from there."

"She's always wanting to learn and see what she can do better," said Mirage head coach Emma Stauber. "It's just awesome to have a player that's willing to work during the offseaosn and then come to practice. She's always ready and she's always ready in the games and so it's just like you couldn't ask for someone better."

When Watkins scored her 100th career point she also netted her 50th goal of her career.

She shared that milestone night with teammate, senior forward, Michaela Phinney who also netted her 50th goal with the Mirage.

"We have so many older girls and yet younger girls at the same time. It's just another way to give them something to look forward to in their careers," Watkins said. "It's just great for all of them to see how much it means to us to reach that goal, so hopefully they can push to reach that goal as well."

Proctor/Hermantown is back in action Tuesday hosting the Duluth Northern Stars. Puck drop is set for 7pm.
