The Minnesota Wilderness kept their perfect record at home after shutting out the Austin Bruins 3-0 Saturday night in Cloquet.
Gunnar Thoreson scored first for the Wilderness with about four minutes left in the first period. Less than a minute later Hunter Young scored to extend their lead to 2-0.
Zach Michaelis netted the final goal in the third period.
Hunter Young scored for the Minnesota Wilderness in the first period Saturday at Northwoods Credit Union Arena to take the 2-0 lead over the Austin Bruins.
Wilderness' goalie Kaleb Johnson made 25 saves in net.
Next, the Wilderness face off against Kenai River Sunday at 7:15pm in Cloquet.
