South Ridge volleyball suffers shutout loss in Class A quarterfinals

South Ridge suffered a 3-0 loss to top-seeded Mayer Lutheran in the Class A Minnesota State High School volleyball tournament quarterfinals Thursday at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Panthers progressively fought harder throughout the match but fell 25-4, 25-10, and 25-16. They were led by Kelly Bergum with four kills and Adella Olesiak with 13 digs.

Now 16-7 overall, South Ridge will face Breckenridge in the first round of the consolation bracket Friday at 1pm.
