Anna Klein scored her second goal of the night with less than three minutes left in the game, but the No. 1 ranked University of Wisconsin had an answer handing the No. 10 ranked University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team a 4-3 loss Friday night at LaBahn Arena.
McKenzie Hewett scored for the Bulldogs in the first period. The Badgers got on the board just 1:10 into the game. Hewett's goal came less than a minute later.
Maddie Rooney had 33 saves in the loss.
The Bulldogs (8-7-2) will close out their series in Madison on Saturday. Puck drop is set for 7:07 P.M.
