UMD Scores 4 in the Third Period to Power Past Omaha

The No. 14 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey team scored four goals in the third period to secure the 6-3 victory over No. 18 University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO) Friday night at Baxter Arena.

Noah Cates and Cole Koepke each had two goals, while Nick Swaney and Louie Roehl each netted one apiece.

Hunter Shepard made 21 saves between the pipes.

The Bulldogs (8-6-1) will aim for the series on Saturday at Baxter Arena. Puck drop is set for 7:07 P.M.
