Duluth East's LaMaster Wins Reed Larson Defenseman Award

Duluth East hasn't played yet in the State AA Quarterfinals, but senior defenseman Luke LaMaster has already earned some hardware. LaMaster was named the Reed Larson Award as the top senior defenseman in boys Minnesota prep hockey.

In 28 games including the playoffs, he has four goals and 39 assists.

LaMaster and the Greyhounds have the three-seed in Class AA. They'll face St. Michael-Albertville on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The game will be televised in the Northland on WDIO/WIRT.
