Eight-Run Inning Powers Loggers Past Huskies 10-8

The La Crosse Loggers handed the Duluth Huskies a 10-8 loss in a rain-delayed Sunday game at Wade Stadium.

Duluth held an 8-2 lead after the seventh inning, but gave up eight runs in the eighth.

Starting pitcher Erik Kaiser threw for 5 innings, allowing 5 hits, 2 runs and struck out 4. Danny Zimmerman went 2-for-4 tallying two RBI.
