Team Krause and Team Bordson Skate in 2019 Heritage Summer Hockey Classic

The 2019 Heritage Summer Hockey Classic took place at the Essentia Duluth Heritage Center’s (EDHC) Sill Arena Monday evening.

The two teams included Team Krause who was captained by former Bulldog and current University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men's hockey assistant coach Adam Krause and coached by Duluth businessman John Goldfine, while Team Bordson was led by ex-Bulldog Rob Bordson and coached by UMD Athletics Hall of Famer Dale “Hoagie” Haagenson.

Before the game, Guinness World Record holder Mark Sertich dropped the puck.

Team Krause took the victory Monday evening where all proceeds of the event go to the Ray Peterson Heritage Fund. The organization was established in 2010, and since that time, has made nearly $15,000 available for youth hockey, youth soccer and scholarships for student athletes.
