Iozzo, Zelen Lead Locals at State Swim and Dive Meet

Seniors Sam Iozzo of Hibbing finished first in the 50 yard freestyle and second in the 100 yard butterfly in Class A, while Ryan Zelen of Duluth East finished third in 50 yard freestyle and fifth in the 100 yard freestyle in Class AA to lead all local finishers at the Minnesota State High School Swim and Dive Championships.

Among other local finished, Riley Pernat of Hibbing finished seventh in the 1 meter dive and Levi Jofs of Mesabi East took fourth in the 50 yard freestyle and sixth in the 100 yard freestyle in the Class A portion.

In Class AA, Miles Rohrbaugh finished fourth in the 1 meter dive.
