Web Extra: Rick Rickert Returns Home, Will Have Number Retired By Duluth East

Duluth, Minn. - Rick Rickert made a name for himself in Duluth as a member of the Duluth East boy's basketball team. In 2001, he was named Mr. Basketball and went on to play college basketball with the Gophers, was drafted by the Timberwolves and played 15 seasons professionally.

On Saturday, Duluth East will retire his #44 before their game with Blaine at 2:30 p.m.
