Updated: April 09, 2020 01:48 PM

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk is awaiting the decision of whether or not the NHL will continue the hockey season.

In a recent chat with WDIO's Chelsie Brown, Pionk discussed the pause on the season, the what ifs, the signing of Hermantown standout and fellow Bulldog Dylan Samberg and life as a pro.

Four weeks ago, the league postponed the season and asked players to self-quarantine after athletes tested positive for COVID-19.

In 71 games with the Jets this season, Pionk has 6 goals and 39 assists. The Jets sit in the top wild card spot in the Western Division with a 37-28-6 overall record. Winnipeg was on a four-game win streak before the season came to a halt.
