Elisha Barno of Kenya took top honors out west with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes and 46 seconds edging the second place finisher by six seconds. He also won in L.A. back in 2017.

Grandma's Marathon officials say Barno is scheduled to return, as are men's event record holder Dominic Ondoro and two-time women's champion Sarah Kiptoo.

This year's 26.2 mile Grandma's Marathon from Two Harbors to Canal Park is June 22.
