Grand Rapids' Carter Casey signs with WHL Medicine Hat Tigers
Grand Rapids native Carter Casey has been signed with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the WHL, a top junior hockey league in Canada. Carter signed a scholarship and development agreement with the Medicine Hat Tigers for the upcoming season.
Last winter the goaltender played for the Thunderhawks for 20 games, posting a .912 save percentage and 2.17 goals against average.
He then played five games for the Waterloo Bucks of the USHL, recording a .920 save percentage and 2.08 goals against average.
Carter is set to graduate from Grand Rapids High School in 2026.
