Former Bulldog Justin Richards inks two-way deal with Columbus Blue Jackets

On Monday University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey alum Justin Richards signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
On an AHL contract with their affiliate Cleveland, this new deal gives the 24-year-old center a chance to return to the NHL.
He was signed in 2020 by the New York Rangers and made his sole NHL appearance with the team in 2021.
In 24 games so far this season with Cleveland he’s recorded six goals and 12 assists.
