Eight athletes sign National Letters of Intent at Duluth East

Eight different athletes from Duluth East signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers.

The list includes Ian Morse who is heading to Saint Michael’s College for DII cross country skiing.

"We obviously have great athletics here and we have a great ski team. This year we got second at State and it’s awesome to be supported by the school beforehand, and then moving on," said Morse.

Jackson Decombaz who is off to Montana State University to compete in DI track.

Anders Wakefield decided to head on over to Concordia College Moorhead for DIII track.

Sophia Revoir will join him at Concordia for DIII track.

Elly Rectenwald commited to Whitman College where she will be perticipating in DIII swimming.

Bianca Lott is going to Carleton college for DIII track.

Cora Nephew is heading all the way to the United States Military Academy West Point for DI track and cross country.

"Honestly I always new that I wanted to go to West Point. For me being able to run for them was just an amazing perk. I love challenging myself it’s so much fun, and I’m just so excited to experience everything and learn more about myself throught the whole process," said Cora Nephew.

While Cassie Bergman will be playing DII softball at UW-Stout.
