Duluth native Joe Rudd off to NCAA DI Swim & Dive National Championships with Gophers
The University of Minnesota Gophers men’s swim and dive team are splashing into nationals anchored by Duluth native Joe Rudd.
A senior, Rudd qualified for the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships as part of the Gophers’ 800 free relay and 400 medley relay teams.
The Duluth Denfeld alum swam for St. Thomas from 2021-2023 before transferring to the Gophers for the 2023-2024 season.
The National Championship meet is March 26-29 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash.
