Owen Marsolek was named Mr. Baseball Minnesota on Sunday after an incredible year for Duluth Marshall, leading them to the Class AA semifinal game.

The Western Kentucky commit posted a 1.02 ERA in 75 2/3 innings pitched, with eight wins in 12 games. Marsolek also struck out 139 batters on his way to the title.

He also hit .474 with 18 RBI, along with a .579 on base percentage.

Esko’s Sam Haugen also finished inside the top eight of Mr. Baseball voting.
