Huskies come out on top in dog fight

The Duluth Huskies proved they were the big dogs taking down the Minnesota Mud Puppies by a final score of 7-3 at Wade Stadium on Monday.

Ambren Voitik ripped a triple into the left-center gap which gave the Huskies a 5-1 lead through three innings.

Matthew Craven threw for four innings in his first start, giving up seven hits, two runs, and striking out five. Nate Wohlgemuth came in to relive. He gave up one hit, a run, and struck out eight.

Game two between the Mud Puppies is set for 6:35 PM on Tuesday at Wade Stadium.
