Huskies hold on for 11-7 win over Loggers

The Duluth Huskies held on to beat the La Crosse Loggers 11-7 Wednesday night at Wade Stadium before they hit the road for a four-game road trip.

Cooper Trinkle and Charlie Rhee reached base four times and scored a combined six runs. Jesse Pierce led the way with three RBI.

Johnny Guzman had his best outing on the season allowed one run (unearned) in six innings, giving up three hits and striking out 6. It was his best outing of the season.

The Huskies will play against the St. Cloud Rox in their second series of the season on Thursday. first pitch is set for 7:05 P.M.
